Hey Scotty,
I'm back with the 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer with the 4.2 Straight six, I have to replace a u-joint on the drive shaft, Should I replace both of them for preventive maintenance? Also are there any pointers in need to look out for while performing the repairs?
Thanks,
Camden
PS thanks for being an honest mechanic with all of us, I wish you the best of luck this year.

Why not if you are already replacing one might as well take care of the other in my opinion.

Replace both just incase.

I would just do the broken one. It's such an easy job with easy access. There's little benefit in replacing the good one.
