Who will be the successor of Scotty if he suddenly passes away?

What made you even think to ask that?
Because Scotty is getting old; although, he still has life left like his grandfather whom he worked on cars till he was in his 80s. Plus, with COVID, he could get infected or he might die from some heart issue or something.
Scotty looks healthier and is more energetic than guys I know that are 20 years younger. Of course no one lives forever but I think he'll be around quite a while.

@mattjyim, Scotty is 67 years young, that’s not old especially if he has been taking good care of himself. He has much life in him still. Let’s move on to real car topics.
Well why don’t we just focus on the positive and worry about that if/when it happens. Scotty is very unique, I know many of us on this forum support his efforts in helping others and also do so as much as we can, but none of us could ever take his place or fill his shoes.
It would just be our loss. There are a lot of car guys on YouTube but Scotty is unique.
He is the only youtuber I watch consistently and would probably be really sad if he passes away, even though I never met him. We both love cars. Even if there is a successor, we only watch him for his cool personality, honesty, and passion for cars that we all love on this forum. I doubt anyone could deliver on all those promises, and even if they could I don't think they would be able to post 2 videos a day and answer questions on his own public forum every single day like Ol' Scotty does.
What about his grandson?

Well he is still really young but Scotty said that is always skips a generation in his family and he said that his grandson already wants to spend all of his time in the garage. Sounds like he may be a contender.
We will at least have this Forum which will continue his mission.

It’s hosted on wordpress I believe, usually pretty cheap.
it uses Wordpress software, yes, which is free. But it is hosted somewhere that provides the server hardware and storage which costs money. And with the traffic this site gets, it won't be insignificant. Then there's the costs of the domain names (not much). And finally you have to pay someone to setup, maintain and support the thing.
Irreplaceable.
There will never be anyone that comes close to Scotty. Period. End of story. Bye bye. See ya later!!
