i just purchased a Scion tC with 145 k on the odometer for five thousand seven hundred dollars
it has a 6 speed manual transmission!!
it replaces my wife’s 2012 Toyota Camry lxe that was totaled while we lived in HOU Texas this past January (she was the victim of a an uninsured driver blowing a red light)
Back to the SCION tC
do I need to be concerned with the timing chain/belt (?) now

What is your opinion of the Toyota Scion brand- albeit it is no longer available under the Scion badge??

It has a timing chain, so if it was well taken care of and you do not have any signs, do not worry about it.
