Is it true that expensive cars like Rolls Royce and Bentley hold their value and have excellent resale value

They are total endless money pits run away from them. For example, my grandson almost bought a used Bentley for $10,000. It was falling apart even though brand new would cost $162,000 when new. Rolls-Royce's are also the same endless money pits for rich fools
