I have a Bentley GT car seat ( 2012/2013/2014?) removed from the car, there are questions/ problems that I hope you can point me to the right direction...thank you in advance.

1. Can you tell me which one is the plug/ cable for the side airbag that built-in inside the seat? I am under the impression it should be yellow color, but don’t know which one?

I would like to connect the seat with the battery/ power supply so that I can move the seat forward/backward & recline, and also for checking any other problem(s) with the seat.

BUT clearly I need to make sure the side airbag to stay unplug from power by using a bypass plug? otherwise the airbag will POP/ deploy and destroy my seat once connected to power.

2. Can you tell me which plug is the seat position sensor ? I need to make sure it stays unplug from power by using another bypass plug.

3. Do I also need to put a by-pass plug to it as a way to unplug the seat position sensor?

4. There is a plastic tube that was cut, can you tell me what this plastic tube is for?

 5. What power supply do I need to use? 12V enough ? what about the amp? Any power supply would you recommend?

I truly appreciate it, I went to a Bentley dealership in Pasadena Ca where the Rose Parade every year, they "stone-walled" me...

I am trying to convert the Bentley into a office chair,..this is my little project...

Million times "thank you",

I would just say find where the grounds are and then experiment with what goes where and what does what. Good luck!

Be prepared for anything

I have absolutely no information on Bentley's. They are not included in any of my data systems. Those snobmobiles require special equipment and special data systems that cost a fortune to access. I've never worked on one for that reason. Since it's a 12-volt system I would just say find where the grounds are and then experiment with what goes where and what does what. Good luck!

Thank you Both for yr replies,...

I saw a video that showed a car seat of different manufacturer that just went "POP" / deployed once it was connected with power. The "common-sense" knowledge tells me the "plug" should be yellow color, but clearly do not want to "take chances"...

Thank you for telling me it is a 12-volt system
