Second Radio Head Unit

Hello Scotty and moderators! I have a 1999 Lincoln Town Car Cartier. It still has the factory Alpine head unit, amp and speaker system. Believe it or not , I don’t want to get rid of this stereo. When it was new it was the best radio you could get for the car (factory subwoofer, 6-disk cd changer etc). I only wish it had the modern amenities of today’s touch screen infotainment screens. Now on to my question, I apologize for the lengthy introduction lol. Is there any way that I could wire in a second head unit with all of the amenities, into the factory speaker system without messing up the stock radio? And any suggestions on how I could possibly make this look stock like it came out of the factory this way, would be greatly appreciated. I really don’t want it to look Jerry-rigged or anything like that. Thank you for any help you can give me!

Not without making an electrical nightmare for yourself. It will definitely look like Frankenstein's monster and you're asking for electrical trouble down the road.

I would leave it as is.

That’s sounds like something I don’t want to try haha. Thanks for the info. Maybe I can just get one of those Garmin gps screens that attach to the top of the dashboard and just leave the rest as is.

That would be an excellent way to go.
