Hey Scotty,
Greetings from the great white North. Though it may not reach the news yet, the company i work for makes parts for the RAV4 and Lexus RX cars, we had an outbreak of 10 Covid 19 cases and we got shutdown by our local health unit. Just thought I'd let you know.
Also, What are your thoughts on a 2015 Chevy Cruze LS (no turbo), i got one with 68,000 kms and im hoping it lasts. Anything I should worry about
Chevy cruise are not great for the long haul. Mother in law had one and it was falling apart at only 110k mi. As far as the shut down here in the US were not getting hardly any new vehicles. My local Ford dealership said they weren’t expecting any new diesels on the lot for at least 4 months. Can’t even get the new GODZILLA 7.3 gas motors on the lot. Shutdowns and holdups are the new way of life seems like.
We never thought Toyota would shutdown their plants up here, but our factory gets some cases and so we get shutdown, thus affecting the whole supply chain
@davidh yup I know my friend it’s insane. The assembly lines down here even had fill ins last yr building vehicles. Now no one can convince me that QC will stay the same for 2020 vehicles assembled here in US. This Corona stuff is out of control. Keep on keeping on brother. I hope it opens up again soon so people can get back to work.
