I have a 2012 Altima S with a 4 cylinder, with 78,000 miles. The car drives and rides and runs great, bought from a friend, his mother own the car before she passed away, so it was driven by a sweet little old lady. I have change the transmission fluid, air filter, cabin filter, cleaned the mass air flow sensor and plugs, only thing really wrong with the car is the paint on the hood and top is bad. The clear cost has come off and needs  a little  TLC.Just looking for some advice, I got a good deal on the car at 2000 dollars, the book value is about 6500 to 7500. Should I sell the car and make 5000 on it or keep it.I drive it easy, but I know the CVT are not great.I know Scotty says to get rid of it has quick as possible. What would you do? Thanks Rick

I would sell it and put the money into something else. Especially if the trans has never been serviced. You can get a car detailing place to sometimes buff off clear coat oxidation. Might help you get a better price, If it has that milky white spot look to it. If it’s already flaking off then it’s to late.

Fix the paint & sell it while it’s still low mileage & working fine.

If you sell it as-is, you’ll give the buyer a reason to negotiate hard for the paint correction.

All the best.
