[Solved] Self Adjuster cable loose

Hello,  This may be a stupid question , but stupid me can not figure it out. I changed the brakes on my Dakota 2201 9" drum brakes. It all works well, even the emergency brake and brakes fine. However, I can not find a way to install the self adjuster. The leveler after is attached to the spring and the cable it just hangs down and is down to the level where it scratches the drum. The old drum has a groove where the leveler was touching. I have watched multiple videos and I have followed the instructions which are simple. Yet, I it is not held in place; there is not enough pull up tension from the cable, it is not tight enough for the leveler to touch the adjusting wheel and it hangs down. It's is as if the cable were too long, but I can not figure out which cable to use; they all seem to be 10" total in length or longer. Any help will be more than appreciated. This is the last item I have after I spent months fixing, suspension, seal, wheel bearings, etc. and now I am clueless.

Thank you!!

Problem Solved. There is a peculiar specific way to put the spring on the leveler for the self adjusting break.

Realized you left and right side rear brakes I just mirror image of each other so check the other side and you can see how it goes on correctly that's what I do when I work on them I'm getting old and hardly any cars have drum brakes so I make sure that I leave one side alone while I work on the other so I can compare
