Shakes when it breaks

Scotty, I have a 2014 Toyota Corolla LE eco with 70kmiles. Live in Maryland and mostly highway driving for work.  When I come to a stop form highway speeds the car shakes violently and I have noticed a substantial loss in stopping time at all speeds, this is especially bad when coming to a stop going down hill. Had my mechanic check the breaks,he didn't think they need to be replaced. could it be warped rotors?  I have been parking my car on grass overnight for the past 6 months and hadn't noticed any issues prior.

You have warped brake rotors. Replacing them should solve the issue. Buy good quality ones and make sure the lug nuts are torqued to spec and all the same.

It has nothing to do with where you park.

Yes, the rotors might be worn out. Replace them.
