Scotty, I have a 2014 Toyota Corolla LE eco with 70kmiles. Live in Maryland and mostly highway driving for work. When I come to a stop form highway speeds the car shakes violently and I have noticed a substantial loss in stopping time at all speeds, this is especially bad when coming to a stop going down hill. Had my mechanic check the breaks,he didn't think they need to be replaced. could it be warped rotors? I have been parking my car on grass overnight for the past 6 months and hadn't noticed any issues prior.
hopefully your car "brakes" not breaks.
And please don't post multiple times
First find where the shake is, if the steering wheel shakes when you brakes then its front brakes and if the car shakes its the back ones.
make sure you ur brake fluids are between the marks at the reservoir.
check tyres for threads
check rotors for any leap
check pads if they have enough meat on it
if you cAnt find the problem i would say bring it to a different mechanic and have him properly check the brake including brake boosters and lines
