Hi, I have a couple of questions, I have a 2006 PT Cruiser sedan 5 speed and I’ve had it to the shop owned by the person I bought it from and they say they can’t find any thing wrong with it and it has a rebuilt transmission and a few months ago they replaced the whole clutch assembly but when it’s hot and I am stopped at a light, I can’t switch gears unless I shut the engine off. Also, it wouldn’t start one morning and when I jumped it, the taillights flashed and I couldn’t start it and again they said they couldn’t find anything wrong with it and now the battery light will pop on every and again and the battery is brand new. Can you give me a idea where to go from here?
How long have you had it? Can you still return it for a full refund?
Go to another reputed mechanic, who doesn’t have a vested interest, in that vehicle.

You should not have bought it at the first place. More likely to has electronic issues. Typical of PT Cruiser.
