It has 230,000 miles. It is my sister-in-law father. I know him and trust him. He has keep up the car. He has put a lot of highway miles on it. He just bought one with less miles and is thinking about selling it. He wants 2000.00 for it. I am willing to offer 1500 for it. Need a beat around car to drive to work when my employer has us going back to work in September.

One thing I was told a loooong time ago, was don't buy/sell cars to family or friends. You know the car and it's history, I think $2k is a bit high, worse he can say is no to 1,500

It seems like a great car. The 1.8 engines are good, the 2.4 are not so good, and all in all its a reliable rebadged Toyota.
