Theres a 22 nissan titan for sale with only 4400 miles? for about $34k. Seems odd, carfax looks fine, one private owner? Is this suspicious? They usually have 40k miles at this price?

You can't count on Carfax for anything beyond possibly confirming mileage.

The Kelley Blue Book retail value for this truck with 4400 miles (in excellent condition) is between $34.4K and $37.6K. Their values are often inflated so the price is quite typical of a dealership.

Here's the Carfax. It's murky. It shows the truck was originally at Hendersonville Nissan in North Carolina.

The Titan's history is strange to me. It was first serviced on 6/25/2022 with 6 miles, serviced again on 10/06/2022 with 179 miles, and serviced again on 12/01/2023 with 3,710 miles.

It was made "available for sale" and in "dealer inventory" around 12/15/2023 but it wasn't actually titled in N.C. until 5/02/2024 with 3,755 miles.

Now it's currently listed for sale at a Buick dealership in Greenville, S.C. with another ~700 miles on it.

You are wise to be wary, it's not a typical situation.

Turns out it was a demo truck. MY boss has a 19 silverado 1500 that was the same, about alittle over 1 year old with 3k miles. They have no title or registration as an employee like a manager would drive them to get sales. Mechanic the titan was in perfect condition except for sitting around alot, needs to be driven around abit.
