It is a Mercedes W124 300E 24V. It has manual transmission and is rust free. It has 250k kilometers and is from 1992.
Clarification: Will this be a daily driver or weekend toy?

If you want a weekend toy and you can get a good price on one, sure why not? They are better made than the more modern ones.
