I have seen lots of posts that say not to change your transmission fluid. I have a Honda CRV 2010 automatic transmission EXL and was wondering if I should change the transmission fluid, and how to go about it. I trust your advice and was wondering what you think about it.
This question is asked almost every day, so either use the search box or check the FAQ. Also you didn't follow the instructions and post information relevant to your question, which depends entirely on how many miles you have.
Even though it the Manufacturer doesn't recommend to change the fluid , you still have to change the fluid every 30k miles to extend the life of the transmission. I would only do a drain and refill. Once the warranty runs out of your transmission the dealer won't pay for your transmission , YOU DO! So change it every 30k miles.
