I have a 2006 Lincoln Town Car with 97,000 miles, I bought it used and assume it has the original transmission fluid. I've heard conflicting theories on whether or not to change the fluid, so I'd like your thoughts.

Check the condition of the fluid. If it’s dirty & smells burnt, leave it alone. If it’s clean & no debris, sure, change it. Don’t flush it, just a regular drain & fill.
