Hi All!

2009 Honda Jazz 20k miles for £4500 vs. 2011 Toyota Verso S 55k miles for £4500?

So same price, a few years difference in age but big difference in miles. I do about 25k in miles a year as a food delivery driver. So which would be the better buy for my situation, thank you

I’d go for the one which was in better shape mechanically. After a good mechanic checks out both.

If you plan to put 25,000 miles a year, realise you’ll have to replace a few parts which would’ve worn with age.

You’re better off with a manual Jazz or Verso/Yaris for your intended use.

They are both manual transmissions. After using a diesel automatic for doing the job these last three years, the low revs have really gummed out my injectors and transmission. My mechanic will take a look at both but the mileages check out and no major advisories or fails in the past.

Oh great! If that Jazz is still in good shape, I'd pick it over the Verso as they are much more zippier & handle well compared to the Toyota. But you wi t go wrong with either. Good luck & try to bargain a little on the price.

Thank you for your help! Just wanted a bit of piece of mind before going in for negotiations!

Is the Verso based on the Yaris or Corolla?

Think of it as Yaris vs Honda Fit (not the mazda designed one they are toyota made like the last generation Yaris)
