Hello Scotty, I have a 1999 Toyota Solara SLE V6 with automatic transmission with 254,162 miles. My transmission is slipping and I was wondering if it's worth buying a brand new transmission form the dealership if possible? would it affect any electronics if I were to instal it? Anything to look after if i were to buy one? Is it cheaper to buy one than get a newer car in the long run? I don't have much money. Thank You!

no. a new transmission will easily be worth more than your vehicle.
