Hey scotty,
I have a 2009 automatic honda civic lx 1.8 with 138k miles. I got it at 131k miles and it's been working good so far. I've noticed that transmission fluid is dirty and probably has never been changed. Transmission seems to work well and I'm thinking about changing (not flushing) transmission fluid and filter. I worry about my transmission start slipping or something after that. Would you recommend to go ahead and change it, just leave it like that or maybe something else?

I’ve watched videos that recommend that after the mileage has gotten to a certain point, it’s best to not change it. There’s a chance that it might start slipping.
