should I change my Corolla CV boots

just changed the oil on my wife's 2006 corolla.  noticed the cv boots are hard as rock.  do i change now or wait till they leak grease?

Scotty would say to get some AT-205 and spray those boots.

Just change the whole CV axle when it wears out. For the amount of time they last, they aren't that expensive.

Make sure you inspect them now for any cracks or splits in them because you don't want dirt and debris in there. Like @mountainmanjoe said, if and when they break, fix the whole axle. it will save you a lot of time, and frustration.
