Hello a friend of mine is trying to convince me to buy this 2009 GMC Acadia with 160,000 miles for $7,500 for a second hand non daily driver. He thinks it’s a bargain but sounds like a lot for that car with that mileage and aren’t these the worst GM made? Should I Run and not walk away?

Don't even think about that car. You are looking at high mileage relatively modern GM.
You should run away from any GM products.
I wouldn't say this is the worst vehicle GM made; my uncle still drives his and he does baby that car. Offer him $4k and then run away if he says no.
