Scotty,

I have a 1999 honda civic 1.6L. I having problems with this car. I have put a new headgasket set, all new drive belts, sparks plugs, fuel pump/ filter, ac compressor, alternator, air filter, battery, 5&1 header( since the manifold was cranked)and distributor. After all this it crank up strong and flew, but has the car reached operational temps. It got sluggish on pulling off from a complete stop and going up hills barely making up. And now it cranks up for about 2mi minutes then stalls out. ( THIS IS A AUTOMATIC CAR) PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

How many miles are on that car? Because if it has 300k or more, then you may as well junk the car because it is already falling apart. Honda's reliability has been going back and forth over the past decade. One person says that they have 400k-500k on one of their cars while another says it is already falling apart at 150,000 miles.

It has 186,000 miles. It's a beater car for my son.
