Hmm which diesel cars would you recommend then from 2017 and up? Which one of these below?

If you can find a VW with an Aisin torque converter automatic or manual transmission, then that would be good too.

Only pick the BMW/Merc if you have access to good mechanics in your area who can work on these machines at reasonable rates.

But didn't you guys say that bmw and mercedes is <expletive removed> and Costs alot in repair ?

Yes we did. But you’re in Europe. Usually spares & labour costs for BMW & Mercedes vehicles are a whole lot cheaper in Europe, than in other parts of the world. Hence I said ‘only if you have access to good mechanics with reasonable labour rates’. Their Diesel engines are quite robust, but get it checked by a mechanic before purchase.
