Should I stick with Ford

I have been a Ford owner since 1987 when I bought brand new 1987 Thunderbird that I ran for about 105,000 miles before trading it for a previously leased Mercury Sable that I also ran for over 100,000 miles which I then traded in om another Sable that I also ran for over 100K and traded in for a 2004 Fusion(this was a dealer demo car) and also ran for over 100K before trading it in 2015 for my current car, a 2014 Ford Escape (2.0 Liter Eco boost engine). Like all of my previous cars, it gets all regular scheduled maintenance (every 3,000-4,000 miles , Mobil 5000 oil) by a licensed mechanic. It currently has about 116,000 miles and has been rock solid, with no major (or even minor) repairs required. Am I just lucky? The only mistake I made was to continue buying an extended warranty, since (so far) I haven't needed it. Will it be safe to stick with Ford when it comes to replace this one (in about 5 more years)?
