Should there be noise when putting your car in drive or reverse?

Hello everyone, I have a new Corolla with 3000 miles, I have always noticed but wondered since the car was new, why does it make a squeak sound when I put it in drive or reverse, but when I step on the breaks a little harder theres no noise at all, its only when I slightly hold the breaks where it squeaks slightly. Is this normal? Thanks!

The noise most likely comes from your brake pads. It should go away by time. In order to make sure about the noise, you need to pinpoint it first.

Its not like a brake pad squeak, more like a suspension squeak if I can explain myself

Spray some AT205 on the rubber parts of struts.

Ill try that, thanks for the suggestion, it probably just some cheap shocks Toyota put on, ill just wait till these wear out and put on some quality ones. Besides It doesn’t make any noises when im driving.
