Hello,
I have a automatic 2012 Toyota Yaris with about 102k miles on it. When idling in park or in drive at a stop light, the engine shudders slightly. I would like to start using this car for learning how to perform my own maintenance. Are there some things I can check or change to see if this improves? Thank you!

Clean the MAF sensor and throttle body, ASAP. My assumption is that they are dirty. Scotty has videos on how to clean a MAF sensor and throttle body. (In fact, I think he has multiple videos, on these).
A cheap DIY solution that shouldn't take more than 30 minutes and 10 dollars.

If you have air on that may cause that, I would not worry unless it throws a code. If it runs ok enjoy.
