Hi, My 2020 Sienna with 46K miles is very hard to shift out of Park first drive in the mornings. Sometimes sort of jumps forward when I let it idle a bit longer and finally shifts gears. No problems after driving for a while after warming up (Not very cold here in California). Is it normal for a transmission of a Sienna to be this hard to shift gears when cold ?

nope. Not normal, and don't let them convince you otherwise.
