New family car … is it worth it??

Hey Scotty,

Family has expanded and I am looking to trade in my 2019 Corolla LE for the new 2023 Mazda CX-50.

I’ve watched almost all of your videos regarding car reliability and though it is really nice, I’m worried it won’t be reliable down the line.

However, my second option is a 2017 Lexus RX350 f sport. I really like the design and am willing to spend more on gas because of it.

Also, any thoughts on a 2017 Lexus RC 300? Roughly 60k miles from a dealer.

RX for my wife and RC for me.

Thank you in advance and keep up the awesome content!

cheers!
Danny

Never buy brand new cars, even if they are from a reliable brand like Toyota, all brands have their positives and negatives, but Lexus is a good brand, I would do research and see if the model year has any issues and copy and paste the VIN go NHTSA website and do a VIN lookup see if any recalls Thats a good indicator of a  good or bad production year.

Good Luck!

Thank you for the feedback! I appreciate it
