I have a 1992 Ford Ranger 2.3 4cyl, 5 spd, manual transmission 135,000 miles. No codes present.
I saw your video suggesting to keep all cars owned full of gas. Can you please make a video to show me how to siphon gas out of my truck's gas tank? I hear that newer gas tanks have a safety check valve in the tank that prevents someone from simply inserting a tube and creating siphon. The other option apparently is by getting fuel through the fuel rail. This option is beyond my knowledge, skill, and ability. What should I do in an emergency to get gas out of my tank?
There’s very few emergencies that should require you to need to get gas out of your tank. If your unable to remove the line from the rail and activate the pump then a lot of Autoparts stores sell small syphon kits that could work
don't do that. You're just going to end up with gallons of stale gas. Keep an emergency jerry can or two and you'll be fine.
