Hey everyone I had a general question about manual transmissions, is there any harm in skipping gears when upshifting to the gear box. As always thanks for the responses!

As long as you're not lugging the engine, then no I don't think there's harm. In fact, some manual vehicles (eg Dodge Challenger) force you to skip gears. It's more fuel efficient to have the throttle open more.
