Slight vibration...

Hi Scotty,

I emailed you a while back hoping you would be able to answer my question, but I'm guessing with the amount of questions that you get asked daily it was probably missed. Anyway I have a different question now 😂

My car: Audi A6 Saloon, Manual, 2009, 2.7TDI V6, 131,000.

Just recently I have noticed that there is vibration coming through the steering wheel when the car is idling, but it seems to ease off once I start driving. Any ideas what this could be?

Also although I'm generally doing quite a few miles, it seems to be burning fuel quite excessively; like more than expected. I had an issue recently with a broken actuator on the inlet manifold? Fortunately there was a repair kit available for this which sorted it and I no longer have the engine management light on. Could this be causing it?

It would be great if you could feature my question in an upcoming video. Keep up the great work!

Regards,

Dan (UK)
