I have a 2017 F150 4x4 crew cab with 75000 miles that runs perfect, engine temp and oil temp is spot on (at least that's what the gauges say). A few days ago I noticed a small amount of white smoke coming out of the tail pipe (never noticed this before) while idling with more than usual water coming out (doesn't appear to be sweet smelling). I live in North Texas and the outside temp was 63°F. No foam in oil (on dip stick) and the coolant level does not appear to have changed in the reservoir. I perform all minor work on my vehicles like oil changes, brake pads etc...and currently using Kirkland 5W-30 with OEM filter. Is this the start of a head gasket problem, injectors or maybe nothing to worry about. Thanks in advance for your help....Chris
I did the head gasket leak test once. Borrowed the kit from Auto Zone for free. Just had to buy the container of block leak test fluid. It was under $20.
