Hello,
I took my car to replace steering wheel coupler to the dealership. They fixed it but when I got my car back the heating/cooling system and wipers stopped working. No power was going into them. I asked the dealership to fix it but they said I would need to pay for new Smart Fuse Box/Board. I don't want to pay for it as this I didn't brought my car with that issue. It started after they replace the wheel coupler. It's been 3 months now and they are not returning my calls.
What should I do? Should I pay for it or not?
Thank you!
Have the issue fixed by an independent shop, then bill the dealer for the cost. If they refuse, there's always small claims court. Document everything.
Contact the Hyundai HQ and file a complaint there. If you have not heard from them either, talk to a lawyer.
Lawyer up & get ready for small claims court. Be sure that you have documentation of all contact you made trying to remedy the issue immedialty after or the court will rule in their favor.
If you don't have evidence an honest lawyer (if they exist) won't take the case unless you insist against their advice of slim odds.
