Instead of paying 70% more for the exact same car in California, who thinks it would be a smart idea to book a $100 one way plane ticket to TN, find a car for a good Toyota or Honda 3 4 grand below California value, get it checked by Scotty, and then drive it back to California on highway miles?
( of course not during the crazy times of 2020/2021 I mean "normal" times)
Sounds like fun. Good excuse to see the more of your country. Do it.
Sounds like going to Germany to go get a Benz, Porsche, or BMW. I heard it could potentially be cheaper on the more expensive models.
I do not know if true I read some years ago that many Germans had imported VW Phateons from America because of about 30% lower price.
Not a bad idea if you can make an appointment with Scotty and be lucky to find the car you want.
Too much work in my opinion. And I doubt Scotty would be available during the time of sale, unless you book an appointment with him.
