Hey Scotty,
We are trying to smog a 2013 Impala LT and the O2 sensor will not set as ready.
Have you seen this before? The car has a new battery and we have tried some of the steps we found online with no luck.

I see it all the time and generally it's either a bad sensor or a weak catalytic converter that it's not bad enough to trip a code but it's not good enough to turn the not ready off so you can get it inspected. Realize Jim software and parts aren't that great so you might pay a pro mechanic to do a thorough analysis of the catalytic converter and oxygen sensor system or you might just guess and put another sensor in
