Snapped lugs and how to remove them

Hi Scotty. My name is Rachel. I have an issue that came up with trying to change a blown tire... I have a 1998 Chevy Camaro V6 automatic.. The problem is, a good friend of mine tried to change the tire, and when he did, he thought the lugs loosened, but they all (5 lugs) snapped 3/4 of the lugs off... Now I have the other 1/4 of the lugs stuck on and cannot change the tire... It will cost me an arm and a leg just to have the vehicle towed to a mechanic, and then whatever the mechanic would charge me for the work and time... My vehicle has already been sitting up at my place of employment for a week, and luckily not towed off the lot yet... My actual question is, how can I get the rest of the lugs removed without professional help or professional tools like an airgun or welding torch or whatever tool might b used by a professional? Please help, I'm in a panic... This is my mother's and my only transportation. I greatly appreciate any advice and/or help!!! Thank you very much for your time and thought!!!

Can you post a photo of the situation?

Well Jenny you're going to have to replace everything anyway so you could get one of those electric grinders for 29 bucks at harbor freight tools and you can just cut them off then you can get new studs and lug nuts at any auto parts store which basically you Hammer back in and tighten up the making seat inside the hub. I have a video on that you just go to the Scotty Kilmer channel type in replacing broken lug nuts on your car Scotty

Carefully hammer them out with a lightweight sledge hammer.  I know careful and sledge hammer don’t sound right together.  But I mean be careful to drive them straight out and don’t damage the hub.

Also, since you are replacing multiple studs, invest in a stud installation tool.  They are about 20 bucks and make it easy to seat the new studs correctly.

Good luck!

How?

You mean your friend went ape on an impact wrench, or they were already broken?

When he was trying to get them off with a 4 way they wouldn't budge. We found a pipe to use with it to help loosen them.. They started to loosen so we thought so he continued that way with the rest of the lugs... Once he was done it turned out that all the lugs just snapped leaving behind a quarter of the lugs stuck on....

They must have been rusted on there good.
