Chevy Cobalt will not start?

I have a 2007 Chevy Cobalt 2 door coupe with a 2.4L engine, auto and 166,000 miles that will not start. My daughter was driving the car home and it died on her I thought it was out of gas, but it was not. When I got the car home, I checked the oil and it had nothing on the dipstick, so I changed the oil and filled it up to where it should be and reset the oil life. Now I have fuel pressure, spark, but I have 0 compression on every cylinder. I thought it could be the cam sensors, but I have replaced those and still has no compression. Could it be that because it ran low on oil the hydraulic lifters are not working right and opening the valves to give it compression? I also took the valve cover off and checked the timing chain to make sure it was not broken, and it looks to be fine. So where do I go from here? Also, no codes were triggered. Thank you for any help you can give.

Well if it is zero compression I would assume the head gaskets blown which is a typical problem on those engines they're not very well made. And if you're running low on oil they will blow head gaskets and also crackheads I would assume the engine is toast
