Hey Scotty! We are shopping for a 2024 Ford Maverick and within the last 2 weeks so many are available at dealerships because people ordered and don’t want them. We have watched all your Maverick videos and you’re the reason we want one. It there something new going on that we don’t know going wrong with them? Have heard of some burning up and have Recalls. Anything significant?

There's a reason why people aren't buying nearly as many as they were. They're Hencho en Mexico, my 2017 Ford Mustang is made in the US, components were Hencho en Mexico. I've replaced a purge valve once, and about 18 months later, the purge valve is messing up again. This is a product made in the US, made in Mexico is guaranteed to be even worse. You might want to go along with the herd mentality with this one.
Ford Escapes and I believe some Mavericks have been catching fire because of faulty fuel injectors. They've been making fuel injectors for over 40 years. Rather than admitting Ford's engineers messed up, they're putting a system in that detects fuel leaks so they can alert the driver. They're cutting so many corners, the piece of paper may as well be round.
