Something Wrong?

Scotty, I have had a 2012 Lincoln MKX, AWD purchased new in early Sept 2012 now with 80,000 miles and to date there has been no service performed other than nearly free scheduled maintenance at the dealer. It sits ungaraged its entire life.  If this is an example of the quality of vehicles coming from FORD than I am very impressed with this vehicle and plan to keep it as long as possible. BTW, my wife has a 2014 FORD Edge Sport with the same engine as our MKX and it too seems to be trouble free. I sincerely believe that if we are kind to our cars they will last longer than expected. We are both in our 70's. Maybe that has something to do with it.  Also, thank you for your service. 😉

Sir, thank you for your service to our country.  There seems to be a common theme here that indicates that older, less electronically complicated vehicles, are far more reliable than new ones.  Congrats on your success.
