- Hello ScottyI wanted to ask you what is wrong with the airbag sensor on my Toyota Matrix 2005. Sometimes it appears on the dash when i first start the car on the day, but it dissappears like the third or fourth time i start the car on the same day. I don't know what happens because the car is parked and didn't hit something. Do you think the sensor needs to be changed or it is the airbag that is bad or it is another issue 😅. Have you tried to scan and see what the code is?

do you have objects on the passenger seat?
Is your Matrix current on all its recalls?
