- Hi Scotty! I have a 2002 GMC Sonoma pickup truck with a 4.3 and roughly 100,000 miles. When I’m driving the brakes will slowly start to engage without me touching the pedal. When this happens the pedal does not drop at all, nor does it go soft. I’m assuming it’s a problem with the abs module or the abs sensor. Have you heard of such a thing? Thanks a million for your expertise and congrats on your new home!

Sounds like the ABS module may be on it's way out to me.
