- Corolla 2010. I can't get the spare tire off the lock. The plastic part just spins and doesn't move the metal stick that holds the tire down. Not sure what to do about it.

can you grab the metal piece and spin it?
A photo would be great.
I cannot there is not enough space to get to the metal piece.

If all else fails, drill holes in the plastic until you can break it off. You can get a replacement from a salvage yard.
