Speed sensors giving codes after front bearing hubs replaced

Hi Scotty, my daughter has a 2011 altima with 145,000 miles. She got both from wheel bearings replaced and they also replaced the drivers side speed sensor. Never had any warning lights on about abs or traction control. Mechanic said he got 3 pages of codes for both front speed sensors and rear passenger sensor. He replaced the drivers side front one and deleted the codes. The warning lights came back on shortly after my daughter picked up the car. He said that he needs to replace the other two sensors now. How did this happen if there was no warning lights on before the bearing hubs were replaced? Thanks for any help you can give.

Look, … bozo who worked on your car did not remove speed sensor first! You don’t remove them, you guaranteed to chip them, … at least on Nissan’s. Those chips are magnetic. They stick to the index gears after they brake off. And so, now you have to replace the sensors, … plus disassemble hubs to clean up the index gears (chips stuck to index gears interfere with sending correct pulse! It is all about electromagnetic pulses those gears generate for computer to determine rotational speed of each wheels)
