Sprinter Jerkyness

Topic starter
  1. New 2020 Mercedes Benz Sprinter 6.0l Diesel mated to 7-speed transmission. 11,000 miles.
  2. It's an RV upfit.
  3. When I accelerate either from a dead stop or going und 5 mpg, the van seems like it loses power and jerks until it catches again and regains power. It almost always happens when going uphill.  The worst case is making a turn from a traffic light on a steep hill.  Feel like I'm on a bucking bronco. The traction control disable light even comes on momentarily.
  4. At speed, no issues.
  5. Had EGR replaced by Mercedes Benz under warranty and it did nothing to alleviate the issue.
  6. The van is still under warranty for a few more months.

Take it back to the dealership

I did. They changed the EGR and that did nothing to resolve the issue

Yes I saw that in your question.
You need to go back there again, and tell them they didn't fix it.

Then take it back and demand that they fix the problem. Remind them of your state's Lemon Law (if you have one). You can also try another dealer, it doesn't have to be the one that you bought the vehicle from, or escalate the problem to Mercedes corporate.
