Hey Scotty, I have a 2014 Ford Explorer making a high pitch squeaky sound when I turn my AC on. What could that possibly be?

Is the noise coming from the compressor under the hood or from inside the cab? If it's inside, it's your blower fan. If it's under the hood, it's probably the compressor going out.

Check condition of your fan belt and pulleys. The AC compressor puts a heavy load on the belt drive. If the noise is coming from the compressor itself, best to replace it before it seizes up and makes a real mess of things.
