[Solved] Squeaking suspension in the morning.

Topic starter

2017 Chevy Traverse 70,000 miles.

I recently put new shocks and sway bar endlinks on the rear and new struts, strut mounts, sway bar endlinks and sway bar bushings on the front. Everything was torqued to spec.

The first thing in the mornings backing onto the street out of our drive all four corners squeak. The morning temps here are 30 to 50.
Once I start driving the squeak doesn’t return, until the next morning.

Any advise?

Thanks.

A lot of times people, myself included, utilize upgraded suspension parts that have polyurethane vs rubber and they tend to squeak.  If this the case, get some lithium grease to coat them with.   If rubber bushings, them possible old rubber (new can sit on self for years and rubber degrades/hardens).  Be careful with any grease you use on rubber... use a silicone based grease if this the case.
