Hi Scotty,

I have a 1993 Toyota Camry LE 2.2 (automatic transmission) with 110,000 original miles on it. When I start it from a cold start it will start right up and will stay running with no problems. But after I then drive it somewhere for 15 or 20 minutes (say to the grocery store), come back out of the store and then go to restart it, it will restart then immediately dies. I will try it again, same thing - it restarts then immediately dies. This will happen 4 or 5 times until as I'm starting it and giving  it gas, it will stay running, only  if I can put it into drive quickly and give it gas. It'll stay running at that point. This happens every time I drive it anywhere now. What is likely the issue, clogged fuel filter, faulty EGR valve, MAF sensor, fuel pump, or something else? It has no codes or check engine lights.

Thank you,

Tony from Texas

Well it's so old. Hey there, ignition system or your fuel system is acting up flooding the car out when it's hot. More often, it's something like a leaking fuel injector or a leaking fuel pressure regulator
