Steering wheel shake and car vibrations.

Hi, I have a Toyota Camry 2005 from the Philippines. I have a problem with the car vibrating and it gets more violent on 120kmph+. At the same time, the steering wheel shakes and veers slightly to the right. I've had the front suspension repaired and aligned and it seems that they have done a great job. However, when I told them there was still some shaking, the mechanic said that the highest possibility would be flat-spots on the tires and I believe this could also be the case as it was left at the garage for over 2 months without using it. I would like to ask if flat spotting is the only possible cause for the shaking? If so, what could be the solution for that? Thanks a lot!

Please don’t triple post, thanks.

When did you last have the tyres balanced? Also, how old are your tyres?

I apologize for the triple post my phone was bugging. The wheel balancing that I've had was when the tyres were bought back in 2014/2015 so now the tyres are around 6-7years old. All 4 tires are Michelin Energy XM2+.

I recommend you start by having all your tyres rebalanced by a professional shop, first. The XM2+ are a decent tyre, however at 7yrs of age, it is possible that they have gotten out of round. With that said, check if the issue goes away after balancing the tyres and take it from there.

Alright I'll try that, thanks!

Might be the roads too! NLEX, SLEX, TPLEX and all those ..EX's have terrible roads. 🤣 🇵🇭 !
