Would you buy an oem Steering rack from a salvage yard from a vehicle with 145,000 miles for $125.00 or buy an aftermarket one for $300 give or take. I was going to go with a new oem but the item was discontinued online. the vehicle is a 07 honda accord v6. Thanks in advance for the help

I would go for the brand new aftermarket one, as long as it’s from a reputable company. The OEM used one might not last or could already be damaged. I’m not a fan of pulling parts from scrap yards (unless it’s a trim piece or something cosmetic) because you don’t know how long they’ve been sitting there out in the open.
Do you know if parts off of RockAuto are any good ?
they are if you don't buy the cheapest stuff
